Is the bush administration trying to derail the investigation into the CIA Torture Case?

It seems the Bush Administration is more secretive than the Nixon Administration. After they are done one can but wonder what evil will be revealed in the tell all books that will come out making some of the Bushies greater millionaires than they already are or make millionaires of the ones that aren't there yet.
