Would a K&N air intake, Aftermarket Headers, and a 3" Borla exhaust increase my horsepower?

I've recently purchesed a 1995 Ford Probe GT(2.5L), and was feeling fairly good about myself having upgraded from a 4-cylander Saturn, till I raced a 1.8L Turbo Jetta, and lost. I didn't lose by much, but I figured while I've got a little bit of money laying about, why not make my car a bit quicker? Any ideas or suggestions? Please and thank you.
