Scientists and geologists say that every form of life on Earth had been already destroyed TWICE before?

Not ALL life was destroyed during those m extinctions. Otherwise we probably wouldn't have the variety of life we see on Earth today - it wouldn't have had time to evolve if life had completely restarted from scratch after each m extinction. Some form of life always prevails. But who knows, with all our technology maybe we could survive a m extinction event too?
