PLEASE CRITIQUE - CORNELL UNIV ESSAY!?

Ok, I'm not an Admissions expert, but I do think it contains a lot of technical terms, especially in the third paragraph, which kinda takes away the fun outta reading admissions essays. Hmmm, perhaps you should make it more simpler?
