Help me choose between two sweet sixteen ideas!?

i am a 16 year old guy and to me it seems the second one is better .. the main thing you want is to have a party where people have fun .. you see sweet 16s where they rent a big ballroom and everyone is dressed up and all they do is sit /dance or eat .. this is boring and i think that the second idea you will be able to have more fun with your friends and get to chose what exactly happens at your party .. you dont need to spend thousands of dollars on a party to make it memorable .. all you need is .... good friends/ great music / a place where people can dance / and just a place(all together) where people will chill .. that rock band thing sounds fun also ..
