Neon Genesis Evangelion, definitely. The ending of the series and the two movies (the old ones, not the rebuild versions) were designed to be incredibly vague and borderlines nonsense. By the end, you will either be spending days thinking about the meaning of the ending scenes of the series or you will decide that it made no sense and just move on to another series.
